The beauty of energy
![]() I can judge my passion for film-making by how far I go to get some footage. Today I was coming back from 2 hours of filming in Exeter, but simply had to get this image as the sun set over Somerset. It will look perfect in a business documentary we have in production. 25 March 2009
For the future and for now
![]() Here's a particularly pleasing frame from our filming at Stowe Landscape Gardens for the National Trust. Blessed with a spell of brilliant sunshine, we have been able to create footage that's outstandingly beautiful as well as a record of this restoration project. 19 March 2009
The cut-through messages come from the sharp end
![]() We like to include in our business films concise, energetic contributions from the people who can best tell it like it is. Those at the sharp-end. We got some great messages yesterday from a machine minder at a printers. Our clients at Howard Smith Papers loved them. 7 March 2009
The time has come to get real
![]() Been reading in Televisual magazine, how the large London corporate film producers are having to trim budgets and offer a more 'quick, simple and effective approach". Also there's a comment about how projects will be "less frivolous and glossy". Well Jump Off The Screen was set-up to produce authentic looking, reasonably costed films made in partnership with our clients. Not for us the expensive 'BBC practices' and the arrogant attitude we hear about so often. |
